As a child, you may have read The Pied Piper of Hamlin. The town of Hamlin had a terrible rat infestation in 1240, which the Pied Piper claimed he could resolve for a nominal fee. The town’s people agreed and the Piper eerily played his flute, leading all the rats from the city and into the river to drown.
"I know what you mean by music being used to induce a hypnotic and subconscious emotional response from consumers to buy a product. They also use coloration in the same way. These methods attack the person’s visual and audio receptors to evoke an emotional response that can be reactivated at a later time repeatedly without any more exposure to the commercial. When music is combined with a catch fraise, and a person is exposed to it over a short period of time, it can create a long term association in their memory linking it to the product or service provider way into the future. This is more commonly known as a jingle, which is what most for the responses I see here are.
At first I couldn’t think of anything. I had to regress back to my childhood, when I used to practice remembering facts and events for school. It didn’t take long before things started to pop into my head, but now I cannot stop them from flowing in my head. THANKS ALOT!!! LOL
Here are just a few that started to come to mind:
In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.
An apple a day, will keep the Doctor away.
Step on a crack, and brake your mother’s back.
Born free, my fathers a doctor! LOL
A shower a day, keeps odors away!
Zestfully clean!
Your in good hands with All State.
Like a good neighbor, State Farms is there.
Now anyone who reads my post is going to have a flood of jingles going through their head too. LOL Good Luck ALL! LOL

Unless you live in a cave, you know that gas prices are spiraling out of control. Headlines include "Super unleaded too expensive; demand drops", "Food costs rise due to increased transportation costs", "Avoid high gas prices with an electric car"
"It is not uncommon to see vehicles featured in our favorite television shows and movies. Does the fact that your favorite celebrity drives an energy efficient car vs. a Hummer make you more likely to buy a hybrid, fuel-cell, or electric car?
No, it is not uncommon to see vehicles featured in our favorite movies, or TV shows. Many times these cars are given to the studios for the trade off for free advertisement. These companies know that if their target consumers see their product being used in these movies, or TV shows that they will be more interested in buying them, especially if they are seen in a positive light.
The fact that my favorite celebrity drives an energy efficient car vs. a Hummer, does NOT make me more likely to buy a hybrid, fuel-cell, or electric car; because I do not have a favorite celebrity. LOL I would choose a hybrid, fuel-cell, or electric car on two things:
1. My research on the different makes and models available to me.
2. My ability to afford said car
That has been the way I always been, and that is the way I will always be. By the way... you forgot about the possibility of buying a conversion kit to change your auto over into a more fuel friendly vehicle, which would cost much less, and has a keen interest to us “do it yourselfers”. LOL

Victoria’s Secret uses picture-perfect breasts to sell sexy lingerie. Not a bad idea.
Wonderbra has now joined the ranks, featuring perky pin-up Dita Von Teese (once married to Marilyn Manson). Starting out as a stripper, soft-core porn fetish model and 2002 Playboy covergirl, Dita moved on to reality TV, MTV and VH1. She was a guest coach on cycle 7 of Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model and is featured in a number of music videos.
"This reminds me of the time a company increased sales from both male and female consumers, after they started advertisement showing a pair of sexy legs with their NEW brand of pantyhose. Both sexes found these legs sexually alluring, but for different reasons. The men consciously saw sexy female legs, and the women were sexually aroused subconsciously, because those legs actually belonged to a male.
While Dita Von Teese is not a male, I can understand why they want to use her in much the same way as with above. Here again they are trying to increase sales from both genders. They are attacking the male’s sex drive, and appealing to the women’s unconscious desire to be sexually attractive to men. In both cases, if the woman wares these Wonderbras she would be sexy and desirable like Dita Von Teese. The only problem is that I really don’t find her that all attractive, so I don’t plan on ever buying them for my woman, even if I had one. LOL
