  • Bad Model Behavior
  • Naomi Campbell has an ugly temper and a long history of tantrums. She’s flung a phone at an assistant, beat another with a Blackberry and assaulted a housekeeper with a jewel-encrusted mobile (to name just a few incidents in her checkered past).
  • "Don't these celebrities have handlers or agents that keep them in check? Or does the agent only clean up the mess that their client created?"

  • Stoopid Commercials
  • Have you ever seen those commercials where they just talk so fast and the commercial lasts a few seconds? Then you ask “What the heck was that ad all about?” Sometimes you just have to wonder how someone got paid to create it.
  • "Repetition in advertising is a must. It is something that will brand your product. Look at the ad houses that created the look of Target and iTunes commercials. Brilliant."

  • Billboards 2008
  • Jim McCann, CEO of 1-800-Flowers.com and his golfing buddy Leslie Moonves, CEO of CBS, had a conversation over barbeque in which Moonves suggested that McCann "really ought to connect with our outdoor group. Something interesting is bound to come out of it."
  • "I think Oxygen is really starting to hit its stride with their programing. They have found their niche in the tv marketplace."

  • MacMan Store
  • Cosmopolitan magazine lists The Apple Store as the top place to pick up a guy. With over 140 stores in 31 states, you too can find that perfect someone. Is the dating scene now spilling over into retail marketing?
  • "I need to start heading to the Apple Store more often...lol"

  • Ode to Gordon Ramsay
  • Ever go to a restaurant on New Year’s Eve, Mothers’ Day or Valentine’s Day? The food is typically more expensive than usual and the service…well…sometimes I wonder about the service.
  • "There is something to putting your customers first. Customer loyalty is hard to receive, but very rewarding."
