The Marketing Scene registration process consists of 2 steps.
The only requirement to become a Marketing Scene member is a valid e-mail address.
1. Complete and submit the sign-up form located - http://www.themarketingscene.com/index.php/site/register.
2. Check the e-mail address you provided at sign-up for the membership "confirmation e-mail" (from admin@themarketingscene.com) and select the link contained within to complete the registration process.
If, for some reason, you do not immediately see this e-mail please check to see if your provider treated it as spam and re-routed it to an alternate folder.
To access and update your Marketing Scene account settings such as the e-mail address associated with your account, your accounts password, and more; begin by logging into the site. Once logged in, select the "Account" link by your username which is located next to the site menu. This will redirect you to "Your Account Information".
To update your "Account Settings"
*Edit Avatar
*Email Settings
*Username and Password
*Localization Settings
select from the "Account Settings" menu and complete the requested information. Update to save.
When reading an articles comments, you may notice some users have provided small images, referred to as "Avatars" associated with their contributions.
An avatar is simply a site members digital representation of himself or herself used to establish, project, and enhance their online persona.
To add an avatar to your account follow the steps listed below:
*Login
*Access "Account Settings"
*Select "Edit Avatar"
*Select image from computer
(Not to exceed 100px by 100px)
*Upload selected image
*Save settings
