When you think about ordering a pizza, you probably have a regular vendor you call. Not many of us put a lot of thought into where our pizza comes from, or the environmental impact of the company that we call. Times are changing, and Pizza Fusion is leading the charge with an incredibly sustainable and environmentally friendly product.

Pizza Fusion’s objective is to not only care about the planet, but they care about the health of their customers as well. When it comes to their food, the focus is on health. They use only organic products. They offer organic gluten free products for individuals with dietary restrictions. Even the brownies, beer, wine and soda they offer is not of the standard variety. Beverages are all natural or organic. You won’t find any mass-marketed drinks in the building.

More importantly, Pizza Fusion has taken some of the most dramatic steps to be THE leader in sustainable business practices. The list of items is incredibly long, but here are just a few things Pizza Fusion does to help save the planet: deliveries in hybrid vehicles only, offset 100% of their energy use, discounts to customers for bringing in their pizza boxes for recycling, serving food in biodegradable containers that break down in 50 days in landfills, building their facilities according to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification standards, not using water or air heating units, but instead, they redistribute heat from the ovens—using recycled blue jeans as insulation, and the list goes on and on. Everything on the walls, behind the walls, furniture, or in the ceiling has been recycled in some way. They contribute generously to environmental causes.

Pizza Fusion’s effort in saving the planet is an admirable one and more companies should take note and follow suit. It’s good for business.
