Unfortunately, depends on your p.o.v. I don' t have the disposable income to indulge myself in every fad that comes along, ergo, I am a "late joiner"…
While watching a football game one Sunday afternoon, I found myself counting commercials. I became so engrossed in counting the commercials, I had to ask myself, "How many ads are shown within each quarter?" I begin counting, and within that time frame, I had counted more than 20 commercials. Commercial after commercial, selling and selling, buy now, pay later.
The commercials ranged from purchasing that new 2012 car, to the latest a greatest cell phone. The commercials went from cars to toys in than 15 seconds. From Verizon to Wal-Mart. Each showing what a great deal they have for you. Buy one get one free. Buy now and pay later. How often do we get caught up in the ads?
Oh, yes, it all sounds good and what's even funnier it even looks good. Now What? Well, within that time span how much money did you spend? Never left your chair but internet works wonders. Cell phones are absolutely terrific, you just sold me. I could use another car.
In just that short time span, I found myself bedazzled by the commercials on everything that came across the set. How many of you are watching and waiting on the next commercial to tell you what to purchase? As consumers, it really looks good. Save money, shopping completed. Purchase now for less than $100.00 and you can save over $200.00 in the next 30 minutes if you call right now. Buy Buy Buy.
Have you ever called two days later and the price is still the same as it was on the commercial?
