Great job Evelyn
For years I have been subscribing to various cooking magazines because I enjoy putting together a gourmet meal for my family. Two years ago, my husband & I built our starter dream home complete with a gourmet kitchen for my wanna-be chef attempts at awesome food and glamorous dinner parties. Suddenly, after the move, my husband started cooking more than usual using incredible recipes.
One evening, my husband shares with me that he now watches Giada at Home on the Food Network, not because he wants to learn how to cook, but because he thinks the host, Giada de Laurentiis, is hot! He not only watches her shows, but he purchases the cookbooks and watches biographical shows about her! Now he is hooked!
Fast forward to last week as I received the new edition to Bon Appétit. The magazine included several panini recipes that looked delicious. I suggested to my husband that we buy a panini press, but he said that was stupid. That same weekend we went to Target. Suddenly, my husband stops walking and starts smiling. He found a Giada de Laurentiis panini press. Apparently, she just launched a kitchen line specifically for Target. I guess that Bon Appetit article was perfectly timed! Miraculously, my husband wanted to buy the panini press and I said, “No, you only want it for Giada!” He blushed and could not deny it!
Is the world famous chef targeting her new products towards men? Ladies, if Brad Pitt started a kitchen gadget line, wouldn’t you buy a panini press if his picture was on the box?
