This was a very well written article. While I do agree with you on some of the statements I also disagree. It would be nice if there were no side…

Very well written. I could not agree more there is no such thing as a "happy period" other than they confirm you are not pregnant. These ads are probably…

Green is a new trend that is often viewed as boring or "hippie". Never having seen these commercials, going off of your description, it seems that…
Why is America the fattest country on earth? Some people blame the fast food industry, some blame an increase in sedentary lifestyles, and yet others say obesity is a disease, just like alcoholism or drug abuse, and maybe genetics is a factor for some people, but no matter what the reason, people need to find a permanent weight loss solution that really works.
Marketers have people very confused as to how to lose weight. Hundreds of ads are distributed daily letting people know about the newest weight loss products, but what they don’t advertise is the fact that with any diet plan, it must be used in conjunction with exercise. So, here is an eye opener for all those people spending millions of dollars on weight loss products: If you eat healthy and exercise three times a week for 30 minutes, you will get better weight loss results than you would by using all of those expensive weight loss products. But marketers are very intelligent and know how to get the most from their customers. Using what I call “the confuse and conquer strategy,” marketers are able to get a consumer to purchase a German Chocolate Cake with one hand and diet aides and exercise equipment with the other.
There are literally advertisements for food, diet pills, exercise equipment, laxatives, new Hollywood diets, dance videos, and the list goes on and on. People are confused and they are searching for quick weight loss solutions, but the truth is that it takes time to gain weight, so it will take time to lose it. Eating right and exercising is the only true way to lose those pounds. So, if you want to lose weight, talk to your doctor and remember…marketers are good at their job, which is to sell products to consumers, but don’t let all the marketing confusion eat away at you.
