What you're thinking!

From: Dr. Advertiser, M.D.

This was a very well written article. While I do agree with you on some of the statements I also disagree. It would be nice if there were no side…

Very well written. I could not agree more there is no such thing as a "happy period" other than they confirm you are not pregnant. These ads are probably…

Emotional Advertising

Mouth Watering

Mouth Watering

Mildred Lightfoot

The most emotional, touching and thought provoking advertising comes from the world of food; and what better market to target than those who love to cook. Whether, it’s a commercial, showcasing Olive Garden and their endless pasta, salad and bread sticks, or a flip of the script to view a food prep show, it can be intoxicating! You may not think of Paula Deen or Rachael Ray as having shows that actually target a certain market, but they do. From their cookware to the butter, from the time you tune into their shows, or happen to catch that mouth watering commercial, you are fair game!

With only two days left, my grandson and I made it last Friday, just in time for Olive Garden’s endless pasta. After watching a barrage of commercials, I couldn’t wait to dive in. For $8.95, I could not only have a variety but as much pasta as my little heart desired! Wow! My grandson loves their salad and bread sticks, so it was a match made in heaven! Needless to say, I never made it past the first plate of pasta, which by the way was delicious! We actually wound up bringing the rest home.

Less than a month ago, I was at home when a cooking show came on television. I can’t tell you when it happened, but somewhere between the rolling of the dough, and filing the raviolis with just the right amount of the creamy cheese filling, I was hooked! I haven’t been able to get homemade ravioli out of mind since!

Is it just me, or are you also getting a little hungry for some Ravioli di Portobello?
