This was a very well written article. While I do agree with you on some of the statements I also disagree. It would be nice if there were no side…

Very well written. I could not agree more there is no such thing as a "happy period" other than they confirm you are not pregnant. These ads are probably…

Green is a new trend that is often viewed as boring or "hippie". Never having seen these commercials, going off of your description, it seems that…
I remember growing up and seeing the Kool-Aid commercials. The showed a happy family having a fun day outside. What topped off the day was a cold glass of Kool-Aid. A walking, talking pitcher of Kool-Aid! Talk about good family fun.
I loved Kool-Aid so much I even ate it without mixing it with water, only sugar. This made me happy. Not only did I enjoy it, so did my mother, brother and sisters. Kool-Aid was available in a large variety of flavors back then though I can only remember the cherry, lemonade, lime, grape, and strawberry.
The Kool-Aid pitcher crashing through walls to save the day from thirst appeared daily on my TV. In some stores it was sitting on the prime front end cap. Now I do not see it so much. What shocked me is just the other day my kids told me that they did not care for Kool-Aid as much as I talked about it. Then I realized that not too many Kool-Aid commercials are on television, except for in summer time. No family gatherings are being advertised so the excitement of drinking Kool-Aid is gone.
Now there are so many choices out there, that Kool-Aid is just one in a huge pack. Bring back the exciting commercials. It made me want more, maybe if they recapture the moment it would make others want it too. Wow, Kool-Aid is just not what it used to be.
Do you have Kool-Aid memories to share?
