This was a very well written article. While I do agree with you on some of the statements I also disagree. It would be nice if there were no side…

Very well written. I could not agree more there is no such thing as a "happy period" other than they confirm you are not pregnant. These ads are probably…

Green is a new trend that is often viewed as boring or "hippie". Never having seen these commercials, going off of your description, it seems that…
The haves and the have nots. Some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouths while others, especially in developing countries, aren’t so lucky and barely survive without the aid of charitable institutions.
Procter & Gamble, the maker of Pampers, joins forces with the UNICEF through its life saving program “one pack = one vaccine” where for each pack of specially marked pampers sold, Pampers gives one tetanus vaccine to benefit a mother and her newborn. Originally started in the United Kingdom in 2006, the life saving program provided more than 25 million vaccines in African and Asian countries where the preventable disease maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) claims the lives of approximately 30,000 mothers and 140,000 infants each year. Tetanus occurs after the mother gives birth in her unsanitary home without the aid of medical professionals and exposes bacteria to the child.
We may not realize it but we are so lucky to be in America, where we have access to the best medical care. I was born in one of those developing countries where if anyone needed immediate medical intervention, the health care facilities will refuse to let you in unless you put a cash deposit up front. The health care associates will look at you from head to toe and probably do a mental calculation if you can afford to pay the hospital bills. Imagine if you are one of the people denied medical attention?
Thankfully, Procter & Gamble may be the answer to the prayers of mothers and children in need. Next time you are out shopping for your child’s diaper, why not choose Pampers? Pampers is the world’s top selling diaper brand, a brand with purpose and a brand that touches the lives of people around the globe. If you don’t have a child, then buy Pampers for a friend or family member.
Doesn’t it feel good to know that we can help those who are in need by simply purchasing products that we already need ourselves?
Will you buy Pampers to help women and children in countries where there is little or no health care?
