Tar Balls

Tar Balls

Wanda McIntosh

Trust me! Any ad's aired during a news segment of late are instantly forgotten. The aftermath of oil floating in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill undergoes a process called weathering as it heads to shore. This is what they call the drying up process and these tar balls range from the size of a dime to the size of dinner plate. This oil spill was created by oil giant BP. With the help of BP's CEO Tony Hayward, profoundly affected my ability to watch the news. The images that appear on our TV's should have a warning that says (these images may be graphic, so we will give everyone a few seconds to leave the room). Wow, how did this happen. Seeing those birds dying in the oil was horrible. I see the faces of these poor people, their lives ruined. Decades of fisherman losing the only way of life they ever knew? What does Tony Hayward say, "I think the environment impact of this disaster is likely to be very modest. The amount of oil and the dispersant we are putting in the gulf is tiny in relationship to the total water volume" (BP, 2010). Did I hear him correctly? Out of pure frustration, I throw my shoes at the TV set.

Is anyone aware what is in the oil dispersant they are dumping on this oil spill? So far they have sprayed 1,600,000 gallons of this stuff in the ocean. A company by the name of Corexit is furnishing this product to BP. This is what they do not tell the public. The material used in the Corexit 9500 is distillates, petroleum, hydro treated light, propylene glycol, organic sulfuric acid. The material in Corexit 9527 is 2-Butoxyethanol, propylene glycol, organic sulfuric acid, butanedioic acid, ester, sodium salt, sorbitan, mono-9Z-9octadecenote, sorbitan, mono9Z-9-octadecenotate, orbit an, mono-9Z-9octadecenoate, poly(oxy1,2-ethanediyl) derives and 2-propanol, 1-butoxy-1-methylethoxy. I challenge everyone to look them up, all are toxic to the environment and poison to anything that ingests them (Bloomberg, 2010).

I use to love shrimp. I use to love lobster and crab. All the delicate eco-systems that live and reside in the gulf region are going to be poisoned! All these toxic chemicals when ingested by the animals in the sea, will no doubt have a lingering effect. "Don't say NO"! Nostradamus predicted the world will end in 2012 (Nostradamus, 2007). For the people living in this area of the world, it most certainty feels like the end is already here! What did you say Tony Hayward? "What the devil did we, BP, do to deserve this? (BP, 2010). It ended for many the day the tar balls found their way to the beautiful shore. We can land and operate RC vehicles on Mars, which are unimaginably miles away, but we cannot figure out how to contain an oil spill 1 mile underwater? (Christ, 2010).

People have been drawn and quartered for less. The part that is so aggravating is the damage control spin that the PR firms use to minimize the damage to BP. The potential that this incident was a world-ender was real. Say the leak kept on, and an oil-sheen covered the vast majority of the earth's oceans. Then, there's a lightning strike at sea, which ignites the oil. The burn could suck all of the oxygen out of the atmosphere, suffocating some. But the added drawback would be the toxic fumes, even if the oil doesn't ignite. That stuff is a carcinogen. Millions may have perished, which would play into the strategy espoused by the globalists. Check out the Georgia Guidestones and their bit about population reduction. Scary stuff.
