This was a very well written article. While I do agree with you on some of the statements I also disagree. It would be nice if there were no side…

Very well written. I could not agree more there is no such thing as a "happy period" other than they confirm you are not pregnant. These ads are probably…

Green is a new trend that is often viewed as boring or "hippie". Never having seen these commercials, going off of your description, it seems that…
My 8 year old niece was watching TV when these words flash across the screen: “The following are real newlyweds. With real issues over Miracle Whip.” As the traditional wedding song plays in the background the couple is standing in front of a wedding chapel. The bride is in a beautiful wedding gown and veil, as she says “I hate Miracle Whip. I’m a mayonnaise person, it’s disgusting.” The groom in his tux says, “It tastes good to me.” The bride says, “That’s gross.” A message comes across the television. When you have kids can they try it?
Simultaneously they say no, yes. They argue about their decision. Finally the bride says, “I don’t want to raise my children in a world where Miracle Whip is a condiment of choice.” They bicker. A message comes across the scene advising viewers to send in their story for the chance to win $25,000 for a wedding or divorce, and it really provides a web site with official rules.
My niece immediately turned to me and said, “Would you divorce Uncle Greg because he likes mayonnaise?” Everybody who knows me, knows that I despise any kind of mayo. So right away she thought this was possible. I quickly explained to her that people don’t get divorced for disagreements about the taste of food. She thought for a few seconds and said, “That’s a dumb commercial.” I agreed with her.
I had a hard time figuring out if the commercial was for Miracle Whip or against it. The bride and groom went back and forth so much, it just didn’t make sense. Check it out for yourself.
Would this commercial get you to purchase Miracle Whip on your next grocery trip?
